About why, after the last exchange of prisoners of war with Russia, our state failed to free a single Azov citizen , writes “NBN”, referring to the explanation of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov, voiced during the broadcast of the telethon on the TSN YouTube channel.

According to Budanov, at this stage “Russia is playing its usual game,” trying to play a card for the socially complicated, in the Kremlin’s understanding, layers of Ukrainian society, which, in particular, include issues related to the Azov brigade. It is precisely because this issue is too tense that this topic is perceived very painfully in society.

Budanov emphasized:

And they [Russia] dream that playing on this theme will give them some benefit in destabilizing our country. This is not so.

Earlier, our news portal reported that ISW explained why Moscow suddenly changed its decision on the prisoner exchange with Ukraine.
