Budanov commented on the information about Russia sending a “battalion of Ukrainian prisoners” to the front

At the end of last year, information was released from the Institute for the Study of War – the Russian Federation deployed the Bogdan Khmelnitsky battalion, allegedly created from captured defenders of Ukraine, which, first of all, was a direct non-compliance by the terrorist state with the Geneva convention” prohibiting the use of prisoners of war in hostilities on the side of the country that captured them.

About the fact that the use of the above battalion, formed in the so-called “DPR”, on the front line of Ukrainian prisoners of war, at the moment has not been confirmed in any way, writes NBN, referring to the statement of the speaker of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andrey Yusov, published by Ukrinform.

According to Yusov, more than 12 years have passed ;months from the date of the first publication of information regarding the creation of the so-called “Bohdan Khmelnytsky” battalion, however, during this entire period, one can conclude that “it was an IPSO [enemy information psychological operation].”

In particular, at the current stage of the war with the Russian Federation, the combat use of the above-described unit has not been recorded, however, the enemies can still resort to this, since they are already committing war crimes by mobilizing Ukrainian citizens from Russia into the ranks of Putin’s army ;HERE (temporarily occupied territories).

Earlier, we wrote about that the GUR MOU talked about attempts on Putin.
