Strong support from the Alliance: what help the allies promised Kyiv at the Ukraine-NATO Council meeting

During today’s meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council, the allies promised Kyiv very serious support that is extremely important for our entire country. Further in the material there are details about what kind of support was promised to Ukraine in 2024.

As NBN reports, during a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council, Ukraine’s allies promised Kiev to help strengthen Ukraine’s air defense in 2024 year. That is, there will be joint purchases of anti-aircraft missiles for the Patriot system, as well as Skynex systems from Germany from the United Kingdom.

In addition, during the meeting of the “Ukraine – Alliance” Council  Russia's missile attacks on Ukrainian territory were strongly condemned, as was Russia's use of ballistic missiles from the DPRK and UAVs from Iroan.

The NATO message clearly states the following:  

Today, all members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization have very clearly stated that they will continue to provide humanitarian and economic assistance to the Ukrainian state. At the same time, many NATO members outlined their plans to provide additional capabilities worth billions of euros in 2024.

 The meeting of the Ukraine-NAO Council, which was held at the ambassadorial level, was attended by the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force Nikolai Oleshchuk, representatives of Sweden, as well as Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Alexey Sergeev.

In turn, the head of the Foreign Ministry Dmitry Kuleba expressed hope that after this meeting, Ukraine’s allies will quickly announce new commitments to strengthen our state .
