Not so long ago, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, informed that since the end of last year, the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation (military-industrial complex or “defense industry”) began to produce more and a variety of ammunition, but with very low quality, and now it has become known for what reason.
About the fact that the introduction of various sanctions anti-Russian restrictions significantly affects the military-industrial complex of the aggressor country, since the Russian Federation experiences a significant shortage of modern optical elements, electronic components and microcircuits, writes NBN, citing the explanation of the speaker of the Main Intelligence Directorate Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andrei Yusov, voiced on the “United News” telethon on the TSN YouTube channel.
According to Yusov, the above sanctions work great, creating additional difficulties for the Russian defense industry in providing optics, electronics and microchips—“that’s what the enemy lacks.” However, Moscow is trying to establish workaround logistics routes through so-called “gray imports” (delivery first to the territory of neighboring countries, and then to the Russian Federation) or by smuggling the necessary equipment.
In particular , at the moment, the Russian Federation is the largest arms smuggler on the planet, however, regarding the development of its own innovative, high-tech weapons systems, “there are difficulties with this.”
Earlier we wrote about that the media called countries that help Russia circumvent sanctions for the production of weapons.
