In an interview with CNBC in Davos, the US Secretary of State noted that there is no “magic pot” of money, so Congress must allocate the necessary funds to help Ukraine. Otherwise, the lack of funding will become a problem not only for Kyiv, but also for America’s leadership around the world, NBN reports.

According to the official, at a meeting with Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky, they discussed Russian aggression. He noted that even at this moment the occupiers continue to launch missiles at civilians, infrastructure, and residential buildings.

At the same time, as Blinken noted, the aggressor country is suffering a strategic failure in Ukraine and it is important that this trend continues. The Washington representative explained that if Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin gets away with the war, then Pandora's box will open and the head of the Russian Federation will not stop at Ukraine.

The US Secretary of State noted that the Russian-Ukrainian war will not last forever, so the costs of aid to Kyiv are temporary. In addition, the best answer to the head of the Kremlin would be Ukraine, which not only survived, but also became a prosperous state.

Recall that Zelensky in Davos spoke about the timing of decisions in the United States and the EU on providing funds to help our country.
