European Union ambassadors will soon approve the idea of using profits from frozen Russian assets in favor of the Ukrainian state.

As NBN reports, this is stated in a message from Radio Liberty journalist Rikard Jozwiak on social media network X.
According to him, the ambassadors of the European Union on Wednesday, January twenty-fourth, will vote on using the proceeds from the frozen assets of the Russian Federation in favor of the Ukrainian state.
In turn, the head of the foreign EU politics Borrell said that there is a political agreement between EU member countries on the use of profits from the frozen assets of the occupying state of Russia.
In his material, the journalist added that already on Wednesday, the ambassadors of the European Union should give the green light to start saving the funds received into a separate account.
And over time, these funds will be used for the needs of the Ukrainian state.
We recall that earlier Zelensky spoke about the timing of decisions in Europe and the United States on financial assistance to Ukraine.
