About the fact that almost everything Allied countries are ready to send the promised F-16s, but Ukraine itself cannot yet accept these fighters, NBN writes, citing information voiced by the speaker of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Colonel Yuriy Ignat, during a telethon on the YouTube channel TSN “.

According to Ignat, recently Ukrainians very often see different deadlines and various forecasts from countries and experts about the supply of F-16s, however, the latter do not take into account—Ukraine must first prepare not only pilots, but also ;and infrastructure and technical personnel, in in particular, engineers.

That is, such a “delay” in shipments is caused by the fact that these multifunctional aircraft are complex aviation systems, and therefore the issue should be comprehensively resolved about their deployment in Ukraine, and to also consider taking it into arms, and most importantly, to approach rationally combat use.

The Speaker of the Air Force emphasized  – now the above-described preparation process is all has not yet been completed, and therefore the partner states are not handing over the F-16.

Earlier, our news portal reported on how Ignat explained why the Ukrainian air defense cannot eliminate the Shaheds immediately after crossing the country's border.
