The CNS told how the Russian Ministry of Defense fooled convicts who were recruited into Storm-Z

“Storm-Z” are units of the Russian occupation army, which are the so-called “penal” military units formed by the aggressor country in April last year at the suggestion of the Russian Ministry of Defense from local prisoners (due to disagreements with the founder PMC “Wagner” by Yevgeny Prigozhin), and used by the Kremlin to carry out “meat assaults”, for example, Bakhmut or Avdievka.

About why the bulk of Russian prisoners who fought against Ukraine as part of the Storm-Z units were not paid the funds promised by the defense department of the aggressor country, including the refusal to issue documents on the expungement of a criminal record, the so-called “pardon from the president,” writes NBN, referring to the “Center of National Resistance” (CNS).

As it became known, the matter concerns not only the regular monetary allowance of mercenaries-occupiers, but and&nbsp ;payments for injury/disability received due to participation in hostilities. Also, the “agreements” themselves about service in “Storm-Z”, as it turned out, were in fact often concluded not with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, but with the so-called “head of the DPR”, as “participation” in a volunteer formation.”

Thus, from a legal perspective, these Russian prisoners do not even belong to the military personnel of Putin’s army, which does not give them a reasonable right to any social or financial guarantees.

Earlier, we wrote about why the Russian Federation no longer offers pardon to occupier prisoners.
