About the fact that the German government intends to spend more than 7 billion euros in 2024 (about 4 billion euros in 2023) to provide assistance to Ukraine, but this is not yet everything, writes NBN, citing a statement by German leader Olaf Scholz, published by the local publication Tagesspiegel.

According to Chancellor Scholz, this “message” to the Kremlin tyrant Vladimir Putin is that Western countries will continue to stand on a united front, supporting Ukraine as much as possible, and will never retreat unless the onset of peace comes a little “earlier” than expected at this stage of the war.

In addition, the German Chancellor emphasized that it is now absolutely unacceptable that Berlin provides Kiev with more than 50 percent of total military assistance, taking into account the volumes from the governments of all EU countries, and this trend should be promptly reconsidered.
