Not so long ago, the Ministry of Reintegration warned that the Ukrainian government was forced to cancel the accrual of accommodation compensation for almost all IDPs (internally displaced persons), making an exception only for pensioners and some segments of the population, since international partners providing funds to our country.

About the fact that at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held the day before, they still approved the extension of the above-described payments for IDPs, but not for all categories, writes “NBN”, referring to information published in the official Telegram channel of Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal.
According to Shmygal, from March 1 this year, “new fair rules” for the allocation of financial assistance to displaced persons will come into effect—the deduction of state payments will be extended for another six months for those citizens who:
- is a pensioner;
- is a person with disability of the 1st and 2nd groups/a minor with disability;
- is an orphan minor/child deprived of parental care.
However, Shmygal added that there are some unspecified “other vulnerable categories” who, apparently, are also having their payments extended.
