It will be difficult to find votes for it: the Verkhovna Rada spoke about the updated bill on mobilization

On Tuesday, January 30, the Cabinet of Ministers sent to parliament the second edition of the draft law regarding a significant strengthening of mobilization measures, allegedly taking into account all the amendments to the document proposed by the Defense Committee of the Rada, and now it has become known how things stand with this initiative in reality.

About the fact that, despite the exclusion from this bill of some controversial provisions on the recommendation of parliamentarians, it is unlikely that this document will be promptly voted on, NBN writes, referring to the statement of the people's deputy from the Servant of the People faction, who is deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada committee responsible for national security, defense and intelligence issues Yegor Chernev, published by LIGA.NET.

According to Chernev, the updated version of the bill was not only not removed, but also ;added standards that raise reasonable doubts regarding “their expediency.”

The Deputy Head of the Defense Committee added the document contains many “correct standards” regarding the timing of demobilization, additional leaves and other things, but the draft law still requires extensive refinement.

Chernev emphasized:

In its current form, it will be difficult to find votes for it in the Rada. And we need the mobilization not to be disrupted, because the state is under enormous threat today.

Earlier, we wrote about the fact that the Rada proposed to introduce a fixed amount of “farm payments” for ;reservation of persons liable for military service.
