NBN writes about the prices for sugar, salt and flour that large chain stores in Ukraine set with the arrival of the last winter month, referring to the monitoring published by the thematic portal “Ministry of Finance”.

On the first day of February, sugar, on average, can be bought for 29.92 hryvnia/kilogram, which is only a few hryvnia cheaper than was recorded throughout January.

Almost identical, but only by a couple of kopecks, sea salt of the marine variety has fallen in price – up to 33.33 hryvnia/kilogram: prices vary from 28.5 hryvnia/kilogram (in Varus) to 37.6 hryvnia/kilogram (in MegaMarket).

However, wheat flour from the Khutorok brand rose slightly in price by February, reaching 23.23 hryvnia /kilogram. At the same time, for 2 kilograms of similar flour, buyers will have to pay 45.3 hryvnia/kilogram, whereas in January, this product was sold for 41.41 hryvnia/kilogram.

Earlier, our news portal reported that analysts demonstrated how prices for vegetables from the “borscht set” have changed.
