The NBU named the amounts that Ukrainians “keep under their mattress” after refusing bank services

The regulatory bank conducted a study, as a result of which they were able to find out that the volume of “cash” in circulation in our country continues to grow, that is, citizens simply refused the tempting offers of financial institutions, apparently after the introduction of enhanced financial monitoring any transactions.

About the fact that the amount of funds in cash circulation during the last year increased by 48.3 billion hryvnia (by 6.7 percent), writes NBN, referring to  official Telegram channel of the NBU.

The National Bank informed that at the beginning of this year, Ukrainians have about 764.4 billion hryvnia in their hands, or 2.7 billion banknotes for a total amount of 757.5 billion hryvnia and 14 .5 billion “trifles” for 6.7 billion hryvnia. Thus, in accordance with these statistics, each citizen supposedly has 66 banknotes and 177 coins, whereas a year earlier the information was somewhat different – each person had 71 banknotes, and ;169 coins each.
