About the fact that the social department of our country does not have the right to block the cards of pensioners, since this is contrary to the norms of Ukrainian legislation, that is, the “freezing” occurs only as a result of the implementation of the internal policies of banks, writes “NBN”, referring to  official Facebook account of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.

The department emphasized that in a situation where a displaced pensioner does not use his bank card for six months, to which the benefit is received, payments continue to be accrued, however do not receive to the current account in the financial institution.

Thus, to resume the receipt of funds to the bank account, you must personally contact any branch of the Pension Fund, and go through the process of physical identification, or carry out this procedure online.

The Ministry of Social Policy emphasized:

We emphasize that we do not block cards for IDP pensioners. However, we ask them to get in touch and confirm their identity by going through identification.
