How much Ukrainians will pay for milk, cottage cheese and sour cream: how prices changed in February

Not so long ago, the Association of Milk Producers warned about the rise in prices of dairy products with the advent of 2024 – since January, almost the entire range of “milk” has increased in price by at least 14 percent, and it has now become known current prices for this product.

NBN writes about how prices for milk, cottage cheese and sour cream in the supermarkets of our country increased in the third winter month, citing material from the profile portal “Ministry of Finance”.

In particular, the cost of ProstoNashe milk with 1 percent fat content, on average, increased from 41.36 hryvnia to 42.4 hryvnia per package of 0.9 liters. At the same time, for the Yagotynskoe brand, 2.6 percent fat content, you will have to pay less—the price has decreased from 42.42 hryvnia to 39.65 hryvnia for 0.9 liters.

Sour cream of the “President” brand also increased in price, but only a few kopecks—up to 41.8 hryvnia per 0.35 kilogram. And the “ProstoNashe” brand with 20 percent fat content has risen in price from 49.62 hryvnia to 52.59 hryvnia per 0.34 kilogram.

It should be noted that “ProstoNashe” cottage cheese has increased by 9 percent in price significantly—from 74.31 hryvnia to 77.78 hryvnia per 0.3 kilogram.
