The Bundestag suggested how many Ukrainians would leave the country in the event of a Russian victory

According to research conducted at the end of last year, more than 4 million refugees from Ukraine were under temporary protection in the countries of the European Union, and if the situation in our country changes for the worse, as predicted in Germany, the number of our fellow citizens in Europe will increase significantly.

About the fact that the German government is already predicting a worst-case scenario for Ukraine, but with some reservations, NBN writes, citing a statement by Bundestag deputy Roderich Kiesewetter published in the local publication Die Welt.

According to Kiesewetter, if Europe does not radically reconsider its strategy regarding supporting Kiev, then the worst-case scenario, including a mass exodus of the population from Ukraine, as well as ;the spread of Russian aggression to NATO member countries, apparently, will become much more likely.

In particular, the Bundestag deputy added that in the case of the collapse of Ukraine [due to the victory of the Russian Federation], the federal The German government expects, if possible, at least 10 million people will leave the country, some of whom will probably head to the Federal Republic of Germany.
