About the fact that ten members of the US House of Representatives, predictably members of the Republican Party, will put forward a “compromise” version of the draft law on foreign assistance, within the framework of which Ukraine will not be able to count on a slightly smaller amount of financial support, writes NBN, citing the Punchbowl material.
As it became known, the provisions of the bill from the Republicans provide for funding only defense, that is, the Trumpist congressmen intend to leave Ukraine without direct injections into the budget.
In particular, we are talking about $47.69 billion to support the defense sector of Ukraine, including 13.77 billion dollars on the initiative of USAI (orders for American arms manufacturers).
In addition, the initiators of the document are once again trying to link the financing of other states with the issue of migration policy and the US border with Mexico.
