Yesterday, February 17, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, commenting on the withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Avdiivka, said that holding this settlement over the past few months has significantly depleted the forces of Putin’s army, since the invaders suffered huge losses – 1 to 7.

About the fact that near Avdeevka, the defenders of Ukraine, thanks to their courage, perseverance and heroism, were able to inflict colossal losses on the Russian occupation forces, destroying a huge reserve of “good Russians”, which Moscow planned to use on other sectors of the front to carry out the offensive, writes “NBN”, referring to the information published in the Telegram channel of the commander of the OSGV “Tavria”, Brigadier General Alexander Tarnavsky.
According to Tarnavsky, during the 4 months of the active stage of the Avdeevka defensive operation (from October 10 last year to February 17 this year), on this section of the front, the total losses of Putin’s army reached:
- in personnel — 47 186 “manpower” (killed and wounded);
- in tanks — 364 units;
- in artillery systems —248 units;
- in armored combat vehicles —748 units;
- in airplanes — 5 units.
