About the fact that blocking is applied only until the moment all the circumstances are clarified and the pensioner-recipient undergoes physical identification, as well as what caused this, writes NBN, referring to the official page of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.
In particular, if an elderly Ukrainian, who is an internally displaced person (IDP), registered before April 24, 2022, regularly does not use his bank card for at least six months, that is, there is no credit for this “plastic” transactions, the elderly person's benefit does not stop accruing, but is not sent to the card itself.
The Ministry of Social Policy listed the key reasons for the above decision:
- the card owner could lose access to it;
- the card owner could die.
Thus, only if the interested party gets in touch (in person at the PFU branch or via video conferencing), Having confirmed their identity, all accumulated payments will be able to be transferred to their account.
Earlier, we wrote about the fact that the government has decided on the percentage by which pensions of Ukrainians will be indexed in March.
