During a joint press conference with the head of the Bulgarian government, Nikolai Denkov, the Ukrainian leader recalled that the European Union pledged to transfer one million artillery shells to our country, but so far the organization has not fulfilled its promise, NBN reports.
According to the guarantor, the member states of the European Union did not transfer even half of the declared amount to Ukraine. As of today, the bloc has sent Kyiv 30% of the promised volume of supplies – about 300 000 artillery ammunition.
Recall that the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba accused Kyiv’s partners of a shortage of shells in the Defense Forces. The head of the foreign policy department believes that Europe should send all the ammunition it produces to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, suspending exports to third countries.
