The Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance said that the organization has no plans to station its armed forces in Ukraine, NBN reports with reference to the Associated Press.

NATO representative noted that The military-political bloc of countries provides unprecedented support to Kyiv. The politician recalled that the Alliance had been helping Ukraine since 2014, and after the outbreak of a full-scale war, it intensified its efforts.

Stotenberg made the media comment against the backdrop of statements by the head of the Slovak government, Robert Fico, and French President Emmanuel Macron.

The Prime Minister of Slovakia said that some states are thinking about concluding bilateral agreements on sending troops to Ukraine to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the fight against Russian invaders.

In addition, the French leader also spoke about that NATO admits the possibility of sending its armed forces to Ukraine.

As reported, the head of the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry called on Western states to prepare for a possible invasion of the Russian Armed Forces into the territory of the Alliance.
