French leader Emmanuel Macron proposed sending NATO troops to Ukraine. Head of State Vladimir Zelensky commented on such an initiative, announcing the visit of a representative of Paris to our country.

The President, during a joint press conference with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, noted that he was not at the summit in Paris, where Macron put forward the idea of stationing NATO armed forces on the territory of our country, informs “NBN.”
According to the guarantor, the French leader reported that at the conference he would talk about new ideas to strengthen Ukraine and promised to share information when he arrives in our country in the middle of next month.
Zelensky noted that he will be able to speak out on this matter when he discusses the relevant topic with the head of France and learns all the details. The President added that the priority now is to resolve issues of providing assistance to Kyiv from Western allies.
We recall that in Lithuania Macron’s idea of sending troops of Western states to Ukraine was called worthy of attention.
