At night, Russia struck Kharkov: eyewitnesses reported a fire in the city center

As NBN reports, in addition to Terekhov’s message in the TG channel, the Ukrainian Air Force was also informed about Russia’s night attack on the city of Kharkov. On the night of March 2, explosions were heard in the city, and eyewitnesses on social networks reported a fire in the city center.

As you know, late yesterday evening an air raid alert was announced in the Poltava, Sumy, and Kharkov regions. At 23 hours 53 minutes, the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were informed about the Shahedov group, which was approaching Kharkov from the northern part.

At 00 hours 17 minutes, the mayor of Kharkov Igor Terekhov reported that enemy forces were trying to attack the city using UAVs. According to the information he voiced, hits were recorded in one of the city’s districts. Data on casualties and damage is being clarified.

A few minutes later, at 00:34, it was announced that as of that minute there were no casualties as a result of the attack. Windows were broken in several high-rise buildings. Two parked cars were burned to the ground, and there was also damage to garages. Elimination of all consequences continues.
