The head of the German government noted that it is impossible to create a weapons system with a very wide scope without first thinking about how control over it will be exercised, NBN reports with reference to the British publication The Guardian.
According to the chancellor, if Berlin wants to control the weapons it provides to Kyiv, it must necessarily involve German soldiers. The politician noted that this was out of the question for him.
Earlier, the media reported that Great Britain was explaining to Germany the need to supply long-range weapons to Ukraine. For this purpose, London offered Berlin a deal: the United Kingdom transfers its cruise missiles to Kiev, and Germany replenishes British reserves with its long-range weapons.
Recall that the former head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry named the condition under which Scholz would have to send Taurus missiles to Kyiv .
