Governor of the Vologda Region Georgy Filimonov reported in his Telegram channel that in the morning a drone of “unidentified origin” struck near the blast furnace of the Severstal metallurgical plant. in Cherepovets, reports NBN.

According to a Putin official, there were no casualties as a result of the attack, and the operation of the furnace was not disrupted. The head of the region assures that the plant is operating as normal, and at the same time, investigative authorities are working at the site of the impact.

Interestingly, a few hours ago the regional leadership explained the powerful “pop” at the plant as a “technological accident.” In addition, Russian media refuted the governor’s statements that the work of Severstal was not disrupted – as a result of the UAV strike, one of the units was damaged, which was taken out for repairs.

Recall that on March 7, a fire also occurred in the Kazansky building tank school. The Internet showed footage of burning barracks, providing details of the incident.
