The government of our country intends to extend the period for accepting applications for payments for accommodation to internally displaced persons (IDPs) for certain, fairly predictable reasons.

What issue was raised during the meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for IDPs, writes “ NBN”, referring to the official Telegram channel of the Ministry for Issues of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.
As it became known, due to the receipt of a huge number of requests from displaced persons regarding the extension of the allocation of financial assistance for living after the 1st March of this year, some social protection authorities and administrative service centers are not able to sign up citizens for an appointment earlier than April.
Due to the difficulties described above, it is possible to make amendments to the Cabinet of Ministers resolution number 332, which the provision of social payments to IDPs is regulated – the deadline for submitting applications can be extended until April 30, 2024.
Thus, after the approval of appropriate changes, IDPs who received social assistance, but who applied for its extension in ;in April, they will be able to receive the required funds for March.
