As NBN reports, this information was published today by the Russian media.
It is noted that after Evmenov’s resignation, the duties of the commander-in-chief of the Russian Navy fell on the commander of the Northern Fleet Alexander Moiseev.
Russian media claim that Moiseev’s appointment “has already been communicated to the personnel,” however, the dismissed Evmenov is still listed as commander-in-chief on the website of the Ministry of Defense.
In a message from one of The media say that despite the fact that he continues to be listed on the Ministry of Defense website, the Admiralty’s opinion is unequivocal. Everyone is convinced that he will not return to his office again.
So far, the Russian regime has not officially made any statement about changing the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy.
Evmenov has held the position of Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy since May 2019. After the full-scale invasion of Ukraine began, Evmenov came under sanctions from the United States of America, the EU, the United Kingdom and others.
Finally, we add that this resignation was carried out against the backdrop of significant losses of the Russian Black Sea Fleet near the Crimean Peninsula .
Let us remind you that not so long ago we already wrote that GUR soldiers destroyed the ship “Sergey Kotov” in Crimea.
