The Kremlin propagandists do not stop conducting the active stage of the disinformation operation called “Perun”, choosing as its peak the date for the start of the pseudo-election of the president of the terrorist state.

About the fact that the goal of “Perun” is to destabilize the political situation not only in our country, but also in Western countries, in particular, the Russians are trying to create conditions to “solve the problems” of the so-called “SVO”, while the operation affects the TOT (temporarily occupied territories) of Ukraine and most regions of the Russian Federation, writes NBN, referring to the official Facebook account of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.
As it became known, employees of the Federal Service of the National Guard of the Russian Federation and agents of the Russian special services are participating in Operation Perun.
The tasks of the above Russians are to implement measures that discredit domestic and Western pro-Ukrainian politicians:
- “throwing in” accusations regarding the corruption of officials and betrayal of the interests of Ukraine;
- justifying the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and covering the situation from a point of view favorable to Moscow;
- dissemination on media resources of false information about the “normalization of life” in the Russian Federation thanks to the leadership of the Russian Federation;
- formation of the image of “Ukrainian Nazis” in the Russian and European segments of the media space.
It should be taken into account that the completion of Operation Perun is planned only on June 30, 2024.
