A study of the internal labor market of our country showed that although IT specialists receive the highest salaries, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find a job due to enormous competition.

About what if to compare with pre-war indicators, the number of vacancies on the Ukrainian labor market in the field of information technology decreased by 107 percent, and, accordingly, wages dropped, writes NBN, citing the material from RBC-Ukraine .
In in particular, the volume of offers to job seekers fell:
- for front-end developers – minus 81 percent;
- by back-end developers – minus 75 percent;
- for QA testers – minus 63 percent.
Contrary to the fact that salaries in the IT sector are still still remain one of the highest in Ukraine, the average figure after the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation decreased – if in 2022, employers were willing to pay “IT specialists” a maximum of $3,435, then by the end of 2023, no more than $3,300. However, this applies only to “seniors” or “middles” in IT; an ordinary specialist in Ukraine can count on 50,000 – 60,000 hryvnia.
