Response to the declaration of cyber war: GUR specialists hacked a number of Russian services necessary for voting in pseudo-elections

The other day, the head of Rostelecom made a statement – his country is declaring cyber war on the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, since employees of this Ukrainian special service are constantly “trying” to destroy “the entire infrastructure created for the elections.”

The fact that cyber specialists of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR MOU) carried out a successful attack on the system of public services of the Russian Federation, through which electronic voting was carried out in the so-called “presidential elections,” NBN writes, citing to sources of “Ukrinform”.

According to the representatives of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Science, through the efforts of our specialists, the website of the government services of the Russian Federation was “founded”, and a similar “trouble” affected the voting system. As it became known, the GUR cyber experts managed to bypass the entire defense structure and inflict such harm on the aggressor country that it would not be able to eliminate until the very end of the voting.

In addition to the above, the MOU GUR began to implement a series of attacks on the electronic functionality of the pro-government party “United Russia”.

Earlier, our news portal informed that yesterday, March 15, specialists of the Ukrainian resistance movement “put down” a number of websites of the “election commissions” of our country.
