As NBN reports with reference to European Pravda, the head of the MFA of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba.

The published message states:

A meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the European Union, in which the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry took part, decided to allocate an additional five billion euros for military support to the Ukrainian state within the framework of the European Peace Fund. The minister expressed gratitude to his colleagues for such a step.

In addition, Dmitry Kuleba also expressed gratitude to the Czech Republic for the timely initiative to purchase artillery ammunition for Ukraine and to all EU member states that have already made their own contributions for its implementation.

Finally, the minister said:

I urge those who are once again thinking about making contributions, make them as quickly as possible . This applies not only to the Czech initiative, but also to several other similar initiatives. Every day matters.

As you know, last week the permanent representatives of the European Union countries supported an increase of almost five billion euros in the European Peace Fund, from which arms supplies to Ukraine are financed.

Recall that we previously wrote that the Czech Ministry of Defense announced a very important message for Kyiv.
