Russian ships have not appeared in the Black Sea for almost a month: OK “Yug” assessed the threat of “Caliber” attacks

After the “demilitarization” of the Russian ship “Sergei Kotov”, the occupiers have not withdrawn their fleet to the Black Sea for almost a month. The head of the press center of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalya Gumenyuk, assessed the threat of attacks by the Russian Armed Forces with Caliber missiles on our country.

The speaker of the operational command “South” said that for almost four weeks the Russians have not withdrawn their ships to Black Sea, fearing a strike from Ukrainian naval drones. However, this does not mean that there is no threat of a missile strike for our country, NBN reports with reference to the publication Apostrophe.

The head of the press center reported that the invaders keep 9 missile carriers in the Novorossiysk Bay of the Krasnodar Territory, the total salvo of which is about fifty “Calibers”. According to Gumenyuk, the invaders are ready to strike with these weapons, therefore the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine assesses the threat of attacks by cruise missiles from the sea as high.

The speaker of the OK “South” noted that Putin's army can begin shelling with “Calibers” directly from Novorossiysk Bay, without taking the ships out to sea, despite the fact that such a step is extremely dangerous for the enemy himself.

Earlier, the head of the press center reported the reason for the pause in the massive missile attacks of Russian troops on Ukraine .
