The state budget of our country, due to protests by Polish farmers who continue to block all border checkpoints, does not receive billions of hryvnias intended to finance the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the defense sector.

About the huge amount of funds lost due to the inadequate actions of protesters in a neighboring country, indicated in the “Customs Digest for February-March 2024,” writes NBN, citing material published in Telegram -channel of the first deputy chairman of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
According to Zheleznyak, based on the calculated indicators of shortfalls in customs payments due to the blockade of checkpoints at the borders of Ukraine by Polish farmers, in particular, the blocking of road routes for crossing the border by striking citizens of a neighboring state, the Ukrainian state budget will not receive 7.7 billion hryvnia.
The first deputy chairman of the tax committee of the Verkhovna Rada drew conclusions from the indicated situation:
Blocking the border negatively affects not only the business activity of a business , but and narrows the possibilities of financing the defense of Ukraine.
