About the fact that yesterday, during the Ramstein event, the head of the Ukrainian defense department Rustem Umerov showed partner states examples of the effective use of Western versions of air defense systems, writes NBN, citing the official page of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
According to Umerov, in one of the hottest directions (apparently, we are talking about the Eastern), Russian aviation dropped from 5 to 60 adjustable/guided aerial bombs (KABs weighing 0.5 – 1.5 tons of explosives) per day. However, this situation was changed after, in just 1 day, the defenders of Ukraine “landed” three enemy fighter-bombers, thanks to military assistance provided by Western countries.
The Head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine emphasized:
At that moment, Russian bombing stopped for more than 11 weeks. And then our troops were able to concentrate on performing assigned tasks.
