About the fact that the spring attacks by the Russian Federation on the energy infrastructure facilities of Ukraine may be associated not only with  intentions of the invaders to reduce the growing potential of the domestic defense-industrial potential, writes “NBN”, citing the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

Analysts at the Institute for the Study of War are confident that yesterday’s massive attack by the Russian occupation forces could not destroy the Ukrainian energy system. However, the occupiers are able to continue to carry out identical intensive attacks on the specified infrastructure, since they are trying to benefit from the delay in defense assistance from Western countries, which significantly limits the capabilities of Ukraine's air defense, which was not recorded in the winter period.

Another factor in the spring intensification of the terrorist state’s attacks on the energy sector, apparently, is the desire to accelerate the destabilization of the situation in Ukraine, since Moscow does not stop trying to minimize the degree of both domestic and international trust to Kiev.

Earlier, we wrote about that Stefanishina named two main allies of Ukraine who oppose its invitation to NATO.
