On her Instagram blog, the nutritionist published a video in which she urged people not to demonize snacking. According to the doctor, for many such a meal means only a quick snack between breakfast, lunch and dinner, NBN reports.

Tolstikova explained that a snack is not about quickly eating and forgetting, but a full meal , which is important for our health, and should include proteins, fats and carbohydrates – the three macronutrients.

According to the endocrinologist, your diet can consist of three large full meals a day and one smaller, so-called snack. You can also divide your daily diet into four equal meals.

The doctor called for a hearty, balanced and healthy snack, thanks to which the body will receive energy and essential nutrients.
