A representative of the Ukrainian Navy on the FREEDOM TV channel reported that the Defense Forces fired at the Konstantin Olshansky large landing ship. For the attack, the defenders used the Neptune missile system, NBN reports.

According to Pletenchuk, a detective story unfolded around this ship. Ten years ago, Russian invaders, during the occupation of the Crimean peninsula, stole this ship and intended to use it for attacks on the territory of Ukraine.

The press secretary said that in connection with this, the Defense Forces decided to launch a missile attack on the BDK “Konstantin Olshansky.” The Navy spokesman assured that the ship was damaged, details about the defeat of the ship are still being clarified.

Recall that on March 23, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck Sevastopol, damaging the large landing ships “Azov” and “Yamal” of the Russian occupation forces. Later, Pletenchuk admitted that the ship “Ivan Khurs” of the Russian Black Sea Fleet could have been damaged during the attack.
