A week ago, the head of the Russian Defense Ministry Sergei Shoigu announced the creation of a “Dnieper river flotilla”, whose tasks will include ensuring the safety of the waterways of the Dnieper River and islands in the Kherson region.

About the fact that the ship's the grouping of this “Dnieper flotilla” will be very vulnerable to certain means of the Defense Forces of our country, writes “NBN”, referring to the official X-account of the UK Ministry of Defense.
It is assumed that the “Dnieper flotilla” will be subordinated to the group of forces “ Dnieper” of Putin's army, intending to place Ukrainian operations across the river, that is, without allowing them to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces' bridgehead in Krynki on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region. Also, the tasks of the “Dnieper flotilla” will include river patrols in place of the ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, while this fleet will be redirected further away, to the eastern part of the Black Sea.
However, judging by the plans of the invaders ;everything will not be able to come to life, since the “Dnieper military flotilla” will also remain open to attacks by unmanned surface drones of Ukraine, which will effectively eliminate enemy ships operating in the Black Sea.
