About the fact that on Sunday night the occupiers again carried out a combined attack on the southern regions of Ukraine, once again “testing” the air defense systems first with a UAV attack, and then “pulling up” missiles, NBN writes, citing an explanation speaker of OK South Natalia Gumenyuk, sounded during the telethon on the TSN YouTube channel.

According to Gumenyuk, during the period of the drone strike observed in the area of responsibility of the Southern Defense Forces, flights of enemy missiles aimed at the territory of the Kherson region, in particular, ballistic Iskander-Ms, were recorded. In addition, Putin’s army launched X-59 guided missiles from tactical aircraft hovering over the Black Sea almost immediately after “practicing” the kamikaze drone attack.

In total, the forces and means of our air defense eliminated 8 Geranium-2/Shahedov, but parts of one of the kamikaze drones fell on an energy facility in Odessa region, causing a fire—the enterprise was put out of commission, and About 170 000 consumers were left without electricity. Fortunately, no people were hurt.

Also, 2 more Russian-Iranian attack drones hit an agricultural enterprise in the Kherson region—there were no casualties here either, since the facility was mothballed.

The speaker of OK South added that the invaders tried to hit certain objects with missiles, but mostly hit open areas.

Gumenyuk emphasized:

The very fact that the enemy combines drone and ballistic attacks, and also uses air-launched missiles, speaks of attempts to deplete air defense systems, and to win any victories in a combined way.

Earlier, we wrote about that Gumenyuk explained why the night attack by the Shaheds on March 30 indicates the Russian Federation is preparing new missile strikes.
