For the first time since the beginning of a full-scale war, the Republic of Tatarstan of the aggressor country found itself under attack from a UAV. On Tuesday, April 2, drones attacked enterprises in Nizhnekamsk and Elabuga. The media stated that the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense fired at the plant where the Shaheds are assembled.

The Russian Telegram channel Mash stated that drones hit factories in Elabuga and Nizhnekamsk. Also in the morning, local residents heard “pops” in the territory of the special economic zone “Alabuga”, where the refinery and the Shahedov production plant are located, NBN reports.
It is reported that the plant was damaged as a result of shelling in Elabuga and the hostel building, according to preliminary information there are casualties. Footage of the strike and its consequences were shown on the Internet.
The publication RBC-Ukraine, citing a source in the special services, stated that the Main Intelligence Directorate attacked an enterprise in Tatarstan, where the Russians assemble kamikaze drones “Shahed”. The plant is located more than 1,000 km from our country.
According to the journalists' interlocutor, as a result of the attack by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense on the enterprise, there is significant destruction of production facilities.
Earlier, the Russian media reported a missile attack at the state district power station in Novocherkassk, Rostov region.
