On the night of Tuesday, April 2, the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine attacked an oil refinery in the Republic of Tatarstan, which is one of the five largest oil refineries in the aggressor country, using a UAV. The media reported details of the strike on the enterprise.

At night in Nizhnekamsk in the Republic of Tatarstan, drones attacked an oil refinery, resulting in a fire at the enterprise. The publication OBOZ.UA, citing its own sources, stated that the drone strike on the oil refinery was a joint work of the SBU and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Educational Institution, reports NBN.
As journalists reported, the UAV hit a primary oil refining installation, power which amounts to 8 million tons of “black gold” — 2.6% of the total processing of the aggressor country per year.
The media interlocutor noted that the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine will continue to work to ensure that the Russians have less and less opportunities to pour petrodollars into the war against our state, cutting off oxygen to the “gas station country.”
Recall that on April 2, Ukraine attacked the Republic of Tatarstan with drones for the first time since the beginning of a full-scale war. In addition to the refinery, drones hit a plant in Yelabuga, where the Russians assemble Shahed attack UAVs.
