The serviceman reported that at the front, the Russian Armed Forces continue to actively advance in the area of Krasnohorivka and Novomikhailovka, Donetsk region, using armored vehicles, which they are trying to protect from drone strikes.

NBN reports this with reference to Apostrophe.

According to Voronov, in the Krasnogorovka area, defenders saw a “miracle” of the artisanal “modernization” of armored vehicles by the Russians. The Liberators cover their tanks with coffin-like iron armor to protect them from FPV drones. In addition, paratroopers must still fit under it.

The officer noted that he knows from commanders in other directions that invaders in such “protected” tanks are trying to get as close as possible to the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In particular, using such tactics, the paratroopers tried to enter Krasnogorovka, but the defenders quickly “put them down” there.

The Russians are also trying to protect their ships in the Black Sea from attacks by Ukrainian drones. Speaker of the Ukrainian Navy Dmitry Pletenchuk said that the occupiers are doing this.
