At a meeting of the board of the Russian Defense Ministry, Shoigu said that the occupiers are intensifying shelling of “logistics centers and storage bases for Western weapons” in Ukraine, in connection with the “threats” created by the United States and its allies, NBN informs.

The ISW analytical material notes that the defense chief’s threats to intensify strikes against Ukraine indicate that Putin’s army may change the targets of its attacks. Before the arrival of American aid, the invaders will likely try to inflict maximum damage to the infrastructure and military-industrial base of Ukraine.

American experts believe that also during this period, Putin’s troops may intensify offensives at the front, in particular in the Chasovoy Yar area , as well as in the Donetsk and Avdiivka directions.

Earlier, ISW analysts listed the conditions under which the Ukrainian Defense Forces could turn the tide of hostilities in the summer.
