During a joint press conference with the head of the Latvian Foreign Ministry Baiba Brazhe, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the return of citizens liable for military service to their homeland is fair to Ukrainian men who did not leave their country.
NBN reports this with reference to the publication RBC-Ukraine.
The diplomat recalled that Ukrainian men of military age who went abroad after February 24, 2022 received legal status and social benefits, since they are citizens of our country.
The Minister noted that it is his duty to protect Ukrainians who are outside Ukraine, and he will do this. However, there must be justice in the issue of men who are in their home country and abroad, as well as justice in relations between the state and its citizens.
Recall that Zelensky’s Office spoke about restrictions for Ukrainian men abroad.
