The head of the regional military administration, in an interview with LIGA.net, admitted the possibility of a new offensive by Russian occupation forces on Kherson, NBN reports.
At the same time, as the official noted, the “second army of the world” will no longer be able to carry out a large-scale operation similar to the one that took place at the beginning of the invasion in February 2022.
According to the head of the OVA, in the region there is a natural barrier for Putin’s troops on the way to Kherson – the river. Prokudin doubts that the Russian occupiers will be able to cross this water stream.
The head of the administration noted that there is a possibility of a new offensive by the Russian Armed Forces on Kherson, since the enemy wants to gain a foothold somewhere on the right bank of the region. He added that the Defense Forces are ready for such a development of events, there are human resources and means to thwart the plans of the Russians.
