ISW pointed out signs of genocide that the Russian Federation is waging against Ukrainians in the Luhansk region

The Russian Federation not only violates the customs and rules of war, but also predictably ignores the provisions of the “Convention on the Prevention of the Crime of Genocide” in the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) of Ukraine.

O&nbsp ;that in the medical institutions of the Lugansk region temporarily captured by Putin’s army, threats began to be sent to mothers—the Gauleiters warned of their intentions to take away newborn children, writes NBN, citing the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

According to the head of the Lugansk OVA (regional military administration) Artem Lysogor, from Monday, May 6, mothers who gave birth in hospitals in the Lugansk region are required to document the citizenship of the aggressor country at least one of the parents, otherwise the newborn children will not be discharged from the medical facility.

ISW analysts indicate assuming the veracity of such information, it can be reasonably stated the occupiers do not comply with Article 2(D) “Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide,” which defines genocide as “the introduction of measures that are aimed at preventing births in an [ethnic] group.”

We have previously written about ;that ISW analysts assessed the possibility of an invader attack on Kharkov.
