Stoltenberg gave a final answer regarding the sending of NATO troops to Ukraine

Not long ago, French President Emmanuel Macron stated that he is considering a scenario in which it is possible to introduce a foreign contingent of troops into Ukraine, however, as it turned out, in addition to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, such a decision is not yet supported in the North Atlantic Alliance.

About the fact that the General NATO Secretary Jens Stoltenberg, during a visit to Italy, denied the potential deployment of Alliance troops on the territory of Ukraine, writes NBN, citing the ANSA material.

According to Stoltenberg, the NATO command does not intend to send a controlled contingent to Ukraine, and the citizens of the war-torn country themselves do not want anything like this. The Secretary General of the Alliance added —Kiev is only asking for more support.

NATO Secretary General emphasized that one of the reasons why the Russian occupation forces managed to advance on the battlefield in recent months is that “we did not fulfill our promise [speech there is also talk about one million shells from the European Union], but there is also [the fault] of the United States, which took 6 months to agree on a new aid package.”
