The British intelligence report notes that the Russian Federation failed to show its “military strength” at the parade on May 9, which is associated with the huge losses of personnel and equipment of Putin’s army at the front in Ukraine, NBN reports.

It is reported that on Red Square the Russians demonstrated 61 combat vehicles, but did not present heavy armored vehicles and tracked military equipment. In the center of Moscow, only one Soviet T-34 tank appeared at the parade, given that during the ceremony in 2020 there were 20 main battle tanks.

In addition, the Russian Federation boasted 9 multi-role fighters Su-30 and MiG -29, as well as 6 Su-25 attack aircraft.

British intelligence also noted that out of 30 units of military equipment, Moscow received more than two-thirds from military academies, youth and veteran groups.

The department added that 9,000 military personnel, cadets and veterans took part in the parade, in 2023 there were 8,000, in 2021 – 11 000.

Recall that SW analysts analyzed Putin’s statements during his speech at the parade May 9.
