In addition to benefits guaranteed by the state, interested persons can, on their own initiative, send so-called “charitable contributions”, remaining confident that most of their financial assistance will go to selected citizens of Ukraine.

About the fact that the above-described contributions aimed at providing support to an individual pensioner do not arrive at once, writes NBN, citing an explanation published on the official Facebook account of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU).
In accordance with the PFU information, charitable contributions/donations intended for a specific elderly person will be included in the calculation base no later than one month from the date of their receipt. However, it is better to know in advance that the target citizen will receive only 70 percent of the amount of the patronage contribution (for example, instead of the donated 10,000 hryvnia, only 7,000 hryvnia), and the remaining 30 percent will be distributed among others pensioners .
To make the above-described contributions, you need to go to the PFU e-services portal by selecting the “Charitable donations” tab in the upper right corner, and then the system itself will prompt you to indicate the amount that can be transferred, including the pensioner’s data for transferring a personal payment:
