About the fact that the main direction of the Russian attack was the city of Starokonstantinov in the Khmelnitsky region, as well as how the forces and means of our air defense “worked out”, writes NBN, referring to the information published in the Telegram profile Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Nikolai Oleshchuk.
According to Oleshchuk, based on the results of anti-aircraft battles, enemy missiles were “landed” during attempts to fly into the Khmelnitsky, Sumy and Cherkasy regions. In addition, Ukrainian air defense forces and equipment successfully shot down 11 Russian drones, both Geranium-2/Shahedov and unknown types, in the Nikolaev, Kyiv, Vinnitsa, Khmelnytsky, Kherson and Sumy regions.
Other 8 UAVs are “locally lost” because they were launched across Ukraine with the goal of overloading the air defense system —the enemies used simulators of attack drones.
